DAY 1
- LANDSCAPE ON CANVAS

With this study we will use the techniques of the 19th century Victorian painters. This group of painters used techniques combining the placement of warm and cool colors to create greater depth and interest.  This piece will use a limited palette to teach the student how to achieve these looks very quickly and efficiently.

Canvas size 400mm x 500mm

DAY 2 – STROKEWORK CLOCK

The inspiration for this piece comes from some beautiful layered Danish flowers painted in the mid 19th century. For this piece we will add a few new twists during the layering which will give the flower more depth. These flowers and techniques can be adjusted for a more stroke look or soften for a more blended look depending on the artists choice

635mm x 150mm x 12mm MDF
Clock movement not included

DAY 3 – ALLA PRIMA FLORAL

The beauty of the “Paint It Simply” technique is the simplicity of the palette and brush.  This piece is painted with only 2 brushes and 6 colors.   Learn new ways to hold and use your brush to create these flowers in just a few minutes.  No blending, sideloading or practicing special brush loads.  We just keep it simple.

460mm x 220mm x 12mm MDF
